This Privacy Policy explains how PayChaser AI, a product of Danel Express Inc., a Canadian corporation (“we”, “us”, “our”), collects, uses, and protects information when you use our website and service at thepaychaser.com.
1. Information we collect
Account and business information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, business name, business country and province/state, currency and tax preferences, logo and branding choices, and billing-related information handled through Stripe.
Client information you enter
Businesses enter their own clients’ names and email addresses so invoices and reminders can be sent. That information belongs to the business that entered it. See also: How we use your clients' email addresses.
Invoice and payment records
We store invoices you create (line items, amounts, taxes, due dates, status), reminder schedules and delivery records, and payment status information returned by Stripe (for example, whether an invoice was paid). We do not store full card numbers — see our Security page.
Usage and analytics
We may record funnel analytics events (such as page views, signup steps, and feature use) to understand how the product is used and improve it. These analytics events do not include invoice amounts or client email addresses.
Technical information
Like most web services, our hosting providers may log IP addresses, browser type, and request times for security and operation of the service.
2. How we use information
- To provide the Service: create accounts, send invoices and reminders, process subscription billing, and show payment status.
- To communicate with you about your account, billing, and important service updates.
- To secure and maintain the Service, prevent abuse, and troubleshoot issues.
- To improve the product using aggregated, non-identifying usage patterns.
We use client email addresses entered by a business only to send that business’s invoices, reminders, and payment thank-yous — never for PayChaser AI marketing. See How we use your clients' email addresses.
3. Service providers (processors)
We use a small set of providers to run the Service:
- Supabase — hosting and database for account, invoice, and application data.
- Stripe — subscription billing and card payments via Stripe Connect. Stripe processes card data directly.
- Resend — transactional email delivery for invoices, reminders, and account emails.
- Cloudflare — website and application hosting, DNS, and delivery.
These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to us, under their own privacy and security terms.
4. No sale of personal data
We do not sell personal data. We do not share personal data with advertisers. We only share data with the processors listed above, when required by law, or with your consent.
5. Retention
We keep account and invoice data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service, meet legal and accounting obligations, and resolve disputes. If you close your account, we will delete or anonymize personal data that is no longer required, subject to legal retention requirements. Backups may retain data for a limited period before being overwritten.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live (including under Canadian privacy law), you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, and to withdraw consent where consent is the basis for processing. Account holders can update much of their business information directly in the app. For other requests, contact us via our Contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are a client of a business that uses PayChaser AI and you have questions about your information, please contact that business first — they control the client information they entered. We will support their response as needed.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage that are necessary for sign-in sessions and the operation of the app. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
8. International transfers
Our providers may process data in the United States, Canada, or other countries where they operate. By using the Service, you understand that information may be transferred to and processed in those locations, subject to applicable law.
9. Children
PayChaser AI is a business tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify account holders by email or in the app where appropriate.
